ROLL TIDE ROLL!!

BAMA BEAT the gators!!  I can't believe we are SEC champs....on the way to Pasadena and the National Championship!

HaPpY tHaNkSgIvIng!!

We weren't able to go down to Alabama for Thanksgiving....but we have some sweet friends that invited us to their Thanksgiving dinner!  We drove down to Bennettsville SC, about an hour from our house, and spent Thanksgiving with the Blackwell/McCormic family.  We had a blast.

Thank you~

We were so grateful that my best friend was able to be in the hospital room with us (Mari-Newton McCormic)  She actually cut the cord!  Being a nurse herself, she was really able to help us out a ton!  I'm so glad that she was there to share the experience with us.  Jonathan's parents were also able to come up and see the baby.  We were so glad that it worked out that they were able to come.  After he was born, the hospital quickly wheeled us down the hall to a smaller room :) where we spent the next 2 days.  We opted to keep him in the room with us instead of sending him to the nursery.  I just couldn't get enough of him....still can't!  He is sooo sweet, I didn't know that I could love so much!  What a miracle.

Baby Landers is BORN!!

I had a doctors appointment on Thursday the 19th, and the doctor told me that my blood pressure was a little high...I was already overdue, so he decided to let me head to the hospital to be induced into labor.  Jonathan and I got to the hospital birthing suite late in the afternoon, and they administered some medicine to get me ready.  It must have worked overnight, because Landers Wilson Gaydosh was born on November 20th, 2009 at 10:56AM.  He weighed 8pounds 10ounces and was 21 inches long!  He is the cutest...sweetest baby I have ever seen.  Jonathan and I were so overwhelmed at the miracle of birth.

ONE WEEK AND counting...

As November 17th draws closer, Jonathan and I are becoming very anxious.  I am hoping for anyday now...but I know he will arrive when he is ready.  We have the nursery all set up and my best friend was so sweet to throw us a shower last Sunday, where we got alot of diapers and essentials that we needed.  We will keep everyone updated as things happen.  :)

We had our first baby shower last weekend!  It was so much fun and we got alot of things that I know we will put to good use.  Thank you to our hostesses....Molly, Linda, Peggy, Kristen, Susan, Caroline, Brittany, Gwenda, and Bethany.
I'm now about 6 months pregnant...the due date is quickly approaching!  ~November 17th~

We bought our first home today....very excited!  Jonathan had to fill out all the paperwork for me since I'm out of the country, but everything went well.  Its a little bit scary but I know we are going to love it.  Our apartment/townhouse has been ok for us this past year, but now that we are starting a family, we really need to be not only in a bigger place, but a more family friendly environment.

Pregnant in Italy

Jonathan and I are both very excited about the new addition to our family.  This summer so far, Jonathan and I have been seperated from eachother which has been really alot tougher than either one of us thought.  I'm in Italy with the University of Alabama Art History group, directing the program and teaching art history.  We have been to Florence, Venice, next week is Rome.  Its been fun, but the eating while pregnant in Italy has proven very difficult....alot of pasta and water.  I'm now 41/2 months pregnant, not quite showing substantially but definately with the baby bump.  At this point I am one more week away from being home and back with Jonathan!
